ARTICLE ADOver the years, I've discovered that some of the best new iOS features are hidden within the accessibility options in the Settings app. This is why I always explore these settings after every new release, and I almost always find something valuable.

As a driver, I usually have my iPhone mounted in a cradle, so I'm not deeply engaged with it besides quick glances at the navigation apps. However, as a passenger, it's a different story. I find myself getting pulled in, but then all of a sudden I'll get that unsettling sensation in my stomach, which can escalate to the point where I need to lie down with a cold compress on my forehead.

You can enable this setting in the Settings app by navigating to Settings > Accessibility > Motion and then tapping on Show Vehicle Motion Cues. Alternatively, you can activate it via the Control Center.

I found that setting the Vehicle Motion Cues options to automatic works effectively, as it accurately detects when I'm in a car.

If you suffer from motion sickness, it's definitely worth a try. I initially thought that the dots would be annoying, but after a few minutes, they just blended into the background.
