Postponing TGE

Dear Hats community,

We are extremely grateful for the growth and community support we have experienced in the past few months. Without you, chain protectors, Hats would not have accomplished what we have today.

Last month, we made an announcement that TGE will start in Q2, however, after careful consideration, we have decided to postpone Protocol Protection Mining . Launching a governance token in the current environment can create unnecessary risks for community members and the long term well being of the project.

Liquidity mining remains an important aspect of our project, as it aligns with our belief that web 3 security should be owned by the community. Our ultimate goal is to create a security hub where crypto communities have a say in the way projects manage their security. During the first phase of Hats lifecycle, we believe that liquidity mining will help bring all protocol participants into the same objective; protect the future of crypto through web 3 security incentives .

Community engagement remains a priority, and in the meantime we will explore different incentive mechanisms to reward early contributors until the TGE.
