For those who use Google Pixel phones, this deal is for you. The Google Pixel Watch 2 may not be the newest model, but it still offers a plethora of great features. The watch usually retails for $250, but Amazon dropped the price down to just $170 for October Prime Day. However, today is the last day of the sale, so the deal will end soon.

When ZDNET's Matthew Miller reviewed the Pixel Watch 2, he noted that the sensors on the device have been greatly improved from the first model. It also features an improved GPS, which coincides with the heart rate sensor as it gives you pace and heart rate alerts.

Review: Google Pixel Watch 2

The biggest win of the Pixel Watch 2 is its safety features. Miller says, "One of the best functions of the Pixel Watch 2 that even beats out the Apple Watch is the focus on safety... With the Google Pixel Watch 2's Safety Check feature, you can set a check-in timer whenever you're moving from point A to B and want your emergency contacts to be notified if anything goes wrong."

Compared to Apple, the Pixel Watch's safety features feel more hands-on and less passive, he noted. The watch also has SOS and emergency detection alerts, similar to Apple.

If you are looking for a simple smartwatch with accurate sensors and great safety features, make sure to pick up a Google Pixel Watch 2 during Amazon's Prime Big Deal Days.
