ARTICLE ADSponsored Post This year's Grey Matter ISV Partner Day will bring together Microsoft-focused ISVs, SaaS Providers and application builders from the UK and Ireland to learn about the latest Microsoft technologies from the software company's own experts.
Held at the Select Car Leasing Stadium in Reading on 9 October the event is free to attend and features three content tracks delivered across twelve sessions, covering topics ranging from data and AI to cloud security. Attendees will also gain additional insight and guidance into specific products and services – including dev tools like GitHub and Microsoft Mapping - and get tips on the optimisation and management of the Azure cloud platform.
Past speakers at previous ISV Partner Days have included April Edwards (Senior Developer Advocate & DevOps Practice Lead at GitHub) and James Chadwick (ISV Ecosystem Lead at Microsoft), and this year's event will feature equally high profile and knowledgeable subject matter experts.
Grey Matter Azure expert Gina Shobrook will be offering advice on how to apply FinOps principles and practices to your Azure environment, and how to overcome the common challenges and opportunities of cloud cost management, for example. Elsewhere Clemens Schotte, geospatial expert and Senior Program Manager for Azure Maps at Microsoft, will cover how to use Azure Maps and Microsoft Fabric Mapping to build and deploy applications that leverage location intelligence.
There'll be other hands-on sessions covering topics such as vulnerability scanning, security awareness training and GitHub Copilot provided by Microsoft and Grey Matter partners including AppCheck, KnowBe4 and Black Marble.
And for developers and software companies looking to hone their competitive edge, sales and marketing professional Sharmila (Sam) Wijeyakumar will be outlining tips on how to leverage digital transformation, digital marketing, business intelligence, and data science strategies to create a successful go-to-market plan for your software products.
