BOOK THIS SPACE FOR AD
ARTICLE ADAsus said, "Oh, you want OLEDs? I got you." Ahead of CES 2025, its lineup includes an expanded offering of new Vivobooks, including a 14-inch, a 16-inch and a convertible in both sizes, as well as the new Zenbook A 14, an ultraportable, thin and sleek laptop with Asus' signature ceraluminum finish.

Oh, and OLED displays all around. All of the laptops here feature either a standard OLED or Asus' Lumina OLED screens, which offer at least 120Hz refresh rates, accurate, Pantone-validated color, and up to 600 nits of brightness. I went hands-on with the 2025 lineup and noted its overall aesthetic: vibrant screens and subdued form factors. Let's take a look at what was announced.
Zenbook A 14
Kyle Kucharski/ZDNETMuch has been said about "sharing" naming conventions this year, but if a device is as light as, well, air, you might be better off abbreviating it "A" to avoid drawing comparisons. Such is the case with Asus' new Zenbook A 14, an ultraportable, thin and light Copilot+ PC made from the company's proprietary ceraluminum, weighing just 2.18 pounds and 0.53 inches thick.
I went hands-on with a few different Asus laptops made from ceraluminum last year, and was impressed with its unique, textured feel that resists fingerprints and is easy to grip. Asus' Zenbook A 14 is a new model to occupy the ultraportable space, joining the Copilot+ party with a fast and battery-efficient Snapdragon X Elite processor.

Specs are impressive, as well, offering up to 32GB of RAM and up to 1TB of storage, with a gorgeous Lumina OLED display. This laptop is definitely one I'm most looking forward to testing first hand, and one of the most exciting products from Asus' 2025 lineup.
Vivobook Pro 15
We tested Asus' Vivobook Pro 15 from last year and praised its performance, brilliant OLED display, and full-sized keyboard, but noted that its battery life was pretty varied, as we got anywhere from four to ten hours in our testing. This is a common trait among Asus laptops that I've tested: their performance and longevity can be highly dynamic depending on settings and workload.
This year's 2025 Vivobook Pro 15 features the same 75Wh battery, but it's packing an Intel Core Ultra 9 "Arrow Lake" processor, which is likely to pump up that battery efficiency while allowing it to run slightly cooler.
But the display is the Vivobook Pro 15's most attractive feature. The 16:9 aspect ratio gives it that cinematic quality, and the 3K resolution, Lumina OLED screen is brilliant and attention grabbing, whether you're using it for gaming or graphic design. The 120Hz refresh rate seals the deal as a pro-level creator's laptop that's well within the mid-range price point.
Zenbook Duo
Kyle Kucharski/ZDNETAsus' Zenbook Duo (2025) is the company's striking dual-screen laptop aimed at creators, and this year's version features the new Intel Core Ultra 9 (Series 2) processor, which Asus no doubt wants to utilize to juice up the battery life. The two 3K OLED displays running at 120Hz is not surprisingly a big battery drain for a device with a 75Wh battery (the same that's in the Vivobook Pro 15).
Battery aside, the Duo is a flexible device that aims to challenge the status quo in the same way as Lenovo's Yoga Book 9i with a myriad of configurations, including desktop mode, sharing mode, or laptop mode. The screens look fantastic and slick, with a glossy finish and ultra-thin bezels, and the 2TB of storage makes for lots of room on-device for hi-res image and video files.
Vivobook S 14
Kyle Kucharski/ZDNETI went hands-on with the Vivobook S 15 last year when it was Asus' first Copilot+ PC with the Snapdragon X Elite. This year, We're rounding out the Vivobook line with a new 14-inch and 16-inch model, both of which are a little more down to business and premium looking.
But it's not just looks, the 2025 Vivobook S 14 features Asus' Lumina OLED display at 120Hz, up to 32GB of memory, and AMD's Ryzen AI 300 series processor with a 50 TOPS NPU. It also features a full suite of I/O ports, including USB4, HDMI, and MicroSD slot.
Zenbook 14
Kyle Kucharski/ZDNETAsus' Zenbook 14 has the most configurations possible, with Intel's Core Ultra 7 or 9 processor, up to 32GB of RAM, 1TB of storage, and a 14-inch, 3K OLED display with 120Hz refresh. The entry-level Zenbook model features Intel's Core Ultra 9 Evo Edition processors, and an Intel Arc GPU.
This spec lineup makes the Zenbook a versatile machine for a variety of use cases, but loaded with I/O and a brilliant Lumina OLED display to look good while doing it. The silver and "Foggy Gray" colorways are understated and neutral -- going along with the rest of Asus' lineup -- featuring its signature design elements.
