VirtualBox is a powerful and open-source virtualization software that enables users to run multiple operating systems on a single physical machine. Developed by Oracle, VirtualBox creates virtual environments, known as virtual machines, where users can install and operate different operating systems as if they were running on separate, independent computers. This virtualization technology allows users to test software in different environments, run applications that are compatible with specific operating systems, or simply experiment with various configurations without the need for additional hardware. VirtualBox supports a wide range of guest operating systems.
