Amazon's Big Spring Sale is here, and the e-commerce giant has cut prices on everything from TVs to robot vacuums. If you're interested in buying a new fitness tracker to log your steps, track calories, or monitor sleep, now could be the time to score on savings and get a start on your wellness journey.

I write about health and fitness wearables for a living, and have several picks that, after testing and reviewing, I can't live without. If you're embarking on your first-ever marathon or are dialing into your sleep routine, these picks will make the process a little bit easier -- I know, I've used them myself.

This is the first record-low discount we've seen on Apple's tenth-generation smartwatch. Debuted last year, the smartwatch offers a wider display and a thinner build. I use my Apple Watch to log my workouts, and I especially like the feature that notifies me of which heart rate zone I'm in. The Apple Watch syncs with Apple Health, so iOS users can have all their data in one place.

And while the Apple Watch is a great health tracker, it also is a convenient mini smartphone that wraps around your wrist. You can get notifications, answer calls, set timers while cooking or baking (something I do regularly), and more.

There are several great smartwatch options, so I recommend the Apple Watch Series 10 to fitness enthusiasts who are within the Apple ecosystem looking for both a fitness tracker and a mini smartphone.

If you've heard anything about smart rings, you've probably heard about the Oura Ring. It's one of the original smart rings that tracks and displays your sleep data (in my opinion, better than Apple), monitors your stress, and automatically logs your activity. In recent years, the updates to heart health, women's health, stress, and more have made the Oura Ring an immensely impressive and competitive health tracker. There's even a feature, called Symptom Radar, that can tell you when you're about to get sick.

The Oura Ring 3, available in the full circle Horizon or the circular-but-indented Heritage, are discounted by up to $100 right now. That's because Oura released its fourth-generation ring in October, and the third-generation is on its way out. But you'll still have access to all those aforementioned features that make the Oura Ring special. What you'll miss out on, however, is one more day of battery life and flat sensors inside the ring's exterior.

If you can't fall asleep without listening to the sounds of music or ambient noise, sleep earbuds can be a helpful sleep aid. I've tested these earbuds in my noisy Brooklyn bedroom that overlooks a busy street, and they've helped dim down the sounds of car horns, ambulances, or the odd loud neighbor and get me asleep.

Also: These sleep earbuds helped me doze off

With a battery life of 14 hours, the earbuds can last you around two days before recharging. Side sleepers won't have a problem lying down with the earbuds in, as they lie flat and are petite, fitting in your ears with no issue and taking up a small amount of space. The app comes with several sleep sounds you can use or blend to create an ambient environment of your choosing. Keep in mind, however, that these won't cancel noise; they'll only mask it with other sounds.

You can get 20% off on the earbuds right now during the Spring Sale.

If you need a new pair of workout earbuds for going to the gym, running or biking outdoors, or going on long walks, let me recommend my favorite ones for all that and more. These Nothing Ear Open are the best earbuds for aware listening (the opposite of noise-canceling listening). Wear these in environments that require a tad bit of awareness (I loved wearing these on runs. I normally wear bone conduction headphones to stay aware of the busy-ness around me as I run, but they don't get that loud. The Nothing Ear Open, on the other hand, does.)

The earbuds hang from the curvature of your ear and deliver noise that rests against your ear canal. The audio is strong, clear, and powerful, and the fit is comfortable for hours. You can go grocery shopping with these hanging from your ears and not have an issue. For these reasons, I love taking them to the gym where I can engulf myself in music as I'm lifting weights or using the machines, but I'm still cognizant of the sounds and people around me -- something noise-canceling earbuds doesn't allow for.

Who knew earbuds could be hearing aids, too? The AirPods Pro 2 are earbuds first and hearing helpers second. That's thanks to a recent update that installed a hearing loss detection feature and a hearing aid feature into the buds.

But let's say you're only using them to listen to music. They do that very well. With noise-canceling features that truly eliminate background noise and distractions and bright and clear sounds, the AirPods Pro 2 are some of the best earbuds you can buy -- especially if you're an iPhone user.

When is Amazon's Big Spring Sale

The sales event kicked off on Tuesday, March 25 and runs until Monday, March 31. Expect savings on all kinds of products the e-commerce giant sells coming and going throughout the week.

Are deals really better during Amazon sales?

While there are no guarantees that the prices you see are the lowest ever, Amazon -- and the various retailers and sellers it works with -- tends to keep promotions as competitive as possible. That's why you can expect discounts that match all-time-lows -- or at least somewhere near them.

How did we choose these Spring Sale deals?

While it's always helpful when products are discounted significantly (we usually cover ones that are at least 20% off), ZDNET experts also prioritize promotions on products we've personally tested and can vouch for. Since the products you purchase are considerable investments, we ensure that our recommendations are grounded by thorough research, testing, and value.

We also source reviews from actual customers, whether through Best Buy and Amazon testimonials (with hands-on images) or online forums like Reddit.
