Linen App Bug Bounty: Keeping Our Users Safe

Linen App is committed to providing a user-friendly and secure platform for individuals to interact with their crypto assets. As part of our security policy, we are launching a bug bounty program to encourage security researchers to report vulnerabilities and help us improve the security of our software.

General Rules and Guidelines

The eligibility and size of a reward are at the sole discretion of Linen App. To be eligible for a reward, vulnerabilities must be reported as soon as they are discovered and kept confidential between the reporter and the Linen App team until the issue is resolved. Public disclosure of a vulnerability makes it ineligible for a bounty.

We ask that reporters provide us with at least 5 working days to investigate the issue and respond. Vulnerabilities should be submitted via the form provided on our website, and issues without steps to reproduce are ineligible for the bug bounty.

Issues must be new to the team and cannot have already been identified by another user or by our audit. When possible, we ask that reporters avoid privacy violations, degradation of user experience, disruption to production systems or data during security testing.

Scope and Rewards

The scope of the bug bounty program includes Linen App iOS and Linen API. Issues related to MITM/physical access to a user’s device, SSL/TLS configuration, denial of service attacks, any third-party service used by Linen App, spam or social engineering techniques, theoretical vulnerabilities without actual proof of concept, information disclosure with minimal security impact, Linen landing page, Linen Blog, Linen Learn, and DNSSEC setup are out of scope.

The reward level will be based on the CVSS score and the quality of the issue description, and will be determined at the sole discretion of the Linen App team. Rewards will be paid in USDC or cUSDC token to the Ethereum address provided by the reporter.

Critical vulnerabilities with a CVSS score of 9.0–10.0 are eligible for a reward of $500-$1000. High vulnerabilities with a CVSS score of 7.0–8.9 are eligible for a reward of $150-$500. Medium vulnerabilities with a CVSS score of 4.0–6.9 are eligible for a reward of $30-$150. Low vulnerabilities with a CVSS score of 0.0–3.9 are eligible for a reward of $0-$30.
