I’ve been testing some things with a Ubiquiti UDM Pro and the staff over there has been really helpful in trying to troubleshoot the problems.

Recently I had a bunch of problems with the captive portal which I’ve been trying to sort out. But suddenly I had some much bigger problems. I updated this post at the end and really don’t have time for this at the moment. I’m sharing this in case others have similar issues or have time to troubleshoot what is going on here. I’m likely going to rebuild and start over.
