Secure Your Emails Using Extensions.

If you’re worried about someone spying on you, or if it is your hawk-eyed company is too interested in your mailbox, or if you’re fed up of targeted advertisements, or if you want to communicate privately with your love interest, or to manage sensitive documents like identity cards, bank statements, passwords,conversations encrypted using PGP is worth doing.

Pretty Good Privacy is an encryption program that provides cryptographic privacy and authentication for data communication. PGP is used for signing, encrypting, and decrypting texts, e-mails, files, directories, and whole disk partitions and to increase the security of e-mail communications. Wikipedia

When this message is downloaded on the recipient’s side, it is decrypted using a receiver’s private key. Make sure you never ever share your private key with anyone. So if anyone is spying on your mailbox, all they’d see is garbled text.

Type on URL https://mailvelope.com and you can install it from there also.

I just only tested it in firefox and chrome.

Click on Generate key,

Now fill your details and click on generate and it is taking time to to key generation.

Now click on right arrow and check:

Here we got the key is not synchronized message for that we back from here and open option tab.

From general click on sign all outgoing message and save.

Click on security and select In a separate Mailvelope pop up and save

Finally we save all things from options and click on key management and right arrow and click on synchronize button.

Now I will get verify message on my email address and verify it.

When you want to send encrypted mail to other then you will import there pgp key on your extension and then you happily send encrypted email to others.

Recipient got encrypted message and for decrypt he will need to put his or her passphrase.
