The Apple Watch Series 10 for $299 is one of my favorite Amazon Spring Sale deals this week

If you want to get your activity up ahead of the summer travel season, now's a great chance to scoop up one of Apple's health-tracking smartwatches for its best price yet during Amazon's Big Spring Sale. You can get the newest Apple Watch Series 10 for $299 (save $100) at most major retailers before the spring season. These 25% off savings can be found on both the 42mm and 46mm models, as well as at several popular retailers like Amazon, Walmart, and Best Buy.

I've been covering Apple Watch sales for nearly two years at ZDNET, and I don't recommend waiting to buy any model watch if you're in the market. Deals typically sell out quickly, as do band sizes and color options. This model may drop in price later in the summer as we inch closer to September, but it's been selling for $50-$70 off since October last year, so this $100 off price is legitimately a good deal. 

Plus, it's one of the better Apple deals I'm seeing this week during Amazon's Spring Sale, where you can nab the AirPods Pro 2 for their best price of $170 (save $80) or the new AirPods 4 for their first-time discount price of $100 (save $30).

That info makes this $299 price quite good. Not only is it the lowest price I've seen the Watch Series 10 sell for since its release, but it directly edges out the $70 savings I saw during the 2024 Black Friday sales. Don't miss out on these seasonal savings. Based on my expertise, I don't anticipate this model to get any cheaper until at least July Prime Day, but we'll have to wait and see. 

You can shop these savings at several retailers. The 42mm Watch Series 10 is on sale for $299, while the larger 46mm model is on sale for $329, a $100 savings on both display sizes.

The newest Apple Watch Series 10 is a step up from last year's Series 9 and is the best model you can buy behind the Apple Watch Ultra 2. 

This year is the 10th anniversary of the Apple Watch Series, and Apple gave the Series 10 a new look to celebrate. The Series 10 has a larger screen size, a thinner build, a new sleep apnea detection feature, and a new finish. ZDNET's Matthew Miller tested the Watch Series 10 in October and was impressed with its latest features.
