Updating Nuclei in Kali Linux

Instructions to update Nuclei on Kali Linux.

Note : This method is applicable only for Nuclei Versions below 2.4.1. Please check below sections to update Nuclei Versions From/after 2.4.1.

▶ Run : nuclei -version
▶ Run : GO111MODULE=on go get -v github.com/projectdiscovery/nuclei/v2/cmd/nuclei
▶ Run : cp /root/go/bin/nuclei /usr/local/go/bin/
▶ Run : nuclei -update-templates or nuclei -ut
▶ Run : nuclei -version

Tip : For future Nuclei release upgrades run below commands only :

To update Nuclei Engine
▶ Run : nuclei -update

To update Nuclei Templates
▶ Run : nuclei -ut
